Not a single word is uttered throughout HBO's freshly released, one-minute teaser for True Detective Season 2 but there are a whole lot of deeply brooding, pensive stares from the show's main leads: Vince Vaughn, Colin Farrell, Kelly Reilly, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch (who's boasting some exceptionally attractive no-sleep-detective-eyes). Every season of True Detective will bring a new ensemble cast of characters and narratives—while Season 1 took place in the swamps of Louisiana with Rust and Marty, Season 2 promises eight episodes set in Central California.

Season 2 of True Detective will premiere on HBO June 21.
