R&B singer Frank Ocean has officially adopted his stage name as his legal name. Ocean was born as Chris Breaux of Long Beach, Calif.—not that you knew that anyway, and not that it matters now. 

TMZ reports that the 27-year-old R&B singer's request for a legal name change was granted by a judge in Los Angeles, Calif. on April 23. In addition to the official name change, Ocean's been working on his follow-up to channel ORANGE for three years—which he just recently announced would be out on April 6, along with a new magazine.
