Free ice cream, music and Blur—so many happy things together.
Blur's first album since 2003, The Magic Whip, won't be released until April 28, but that doesn't mean the Brit Pop legends can't get involved with this year's Record Store Day.
Tomorrow, Saturday, April 18, Blur has employed the help of an ice cream truck to spread the good word on The Magic Whip, making stops at favorite indie record stores around Los Angeles, including Amoeba, Origami, and Fingerprints in Long Beach. The truck will be handing out, yes, free ice cream (if you show your receipt from a purchase from any of the participating record stores) and, if you use secret code "MAGIC WHIP" you'll receive a collectible "Lonesome Street" flexi disc.
Check out the full schedule for The Magic Whip ice cream truck below. Quantities are limited so get there early!
