Wilco will love you, baby.

Wilco has just announced via Facebook that they are withdrawing from their May 7 headlining show at the Murat in Indianapolis, Indiana, citing their disagreement with the recently passed Indiana Religious Freedom Restoration Act, a bill the allows businesses within the state to deny services to gay people:

Concerns over Indiana's new religious freedom law has attracted pledges from cities and businesses to boycott the state, including the city of San Francisco, Calif. Celebrities like George Takei, Broadway star Audra McDonald and Ashton Kutcher have also spoken up against the law, although this seems to be the first major instance of a band or musician joining the boycott.

San Francisco-based computing company Salesforce has also decided to cease sending employees to Indiana. Apple CEO Tim Cook also added his voice to the growing concern over the bill, stating, "Around the world, we strive to treat every customer the same—regardless of where they come from, how they worship or who they love."
