They're calling it the "Perfect summer getaway."
Netflix just made a big announcement on Twitter, unleashing the premiere dates for eight programs. The online streaming service has a robust roster of original content now, and this summer is going to bring us lots and lots and lots of bingewatching sessions. Get that couch prepped and clear that calendar:
Orange Is the New Black, which may just be the most anticipated series return on the list, is set for a June 12 release (and if you missed it: Jason Biggs will not be reprising his role as Larry in the next season!).
Netflix's Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp series, which is a follow-up to the 2001 film of the same name, features an insane cast, including Janeane Garofolo, David Hyde Piere, Molly Shannon, Paul Rudd, Michael Showalter, Michael Ian Black, Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Judah Friedlander, Chris Pine, Jon Hamm, Jason Schwartzman, Kristen Wiig, Randall Park and more. The series will consist of eight episodes and is rumored to serve as a prequel to the film.
