Almost four years after her unexpected death at age 27, a documentary on the life of Amy Winehouse has been announced.
As Deadline reports, Senna director Asif Kapadia is set to helm the film on the six-time Grammy Award-winner "in her own words." The documentary has promised previously unseen footage, along with unreleased tracks.
After releasing two critically acclaimed albums, Winehouse passed away July 23, 2011 from alcohol poisoning.
Amy will be released on July 3.
