One of the nicest dudes in rap teams up with one of the, uh, not-so-nicest.
During the official premiere of Focus, Will Smith was asked by Hollyscoop about the news that he's been working on with Kanye West in the studio.
Smith shares that he's "recorded a lot," but the real interesting thing here? "I've probably recorded around seven or eight [songs]. It's not for certain, it's just explorative."
The musician-turned-actor has been dropping a few hints lately that he's interested in releasing some new music—namely with his son, Jaden, and West—but it's been a decade since his last album, 2005's Lost and Found.
During Smith's recent media blitz for the promotion of Focus, he's appeared on Letterman with a spontaneous performance of "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" and last night's guest spot on Kimmel brought us a performance of "Summertime" with a little help from old friend DJ Jazzy Jeff.
