Nevermind the Oscar losses. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Community director/writer Rob Schrab has been selected to direct the sequel to one of the best animated films of 2014.

Okay, so you may not know his name, but chancces are, you've seen his work: Schrab has been the director behind episode of Childrens Hospital, Community, Parks and Recreation (RIP), The Mindy Project, Workaholics and more.

And thanks to the mega success of The LEGO Movie, the toy company is stepping up their film efforts in the next few years with Ninjago set for a September 23, 2016 release and a LEGO Batman movie out May 2017. In the meantime, The LEGO Movie 2 is looking at a potential 2018 release. No word yet on the actual premise, but we're pretty sure it'll be... awesome.
