'tis the season to get super emo.

Let these classic pop-punk tunes put you in the holiday cheer.

"Last Christmas" Jimmy Eat World

Jimmy Eat World does a bang-up job covering this 1984 Wham! classic. As Jim Adkins sad and melodic voice sings, "Last Christmas I gave you my heart, the very next day you gave it away," you can't help but wonder if he should just stay single for a while.

"Oi to the World" The Vandals

A punk-rock take on this traditional holiday song, "Oi to the World" tells the story of a fight between an Oi and a Skin from different sides of the tracks. After a bloody battle, they eventually come together in the spirit of Christmas. Or through their mutual hatred of cops.

"Christmas Day" MXPX

Leave it to the Christian rockers to write an actual meaningful holiday song. "A little goes a long way, a little goes a long way." Clearly somebody didn't get the memo that Christmas is all about consumerism.

"Happy Holidays, You Bastard" Blink 182

It wouldn't be Christmas eve if you weren't falling asleep over a roll of wrapping paper and a mountain of gifts. Not only does Blink touch on the joy of Christmas in this song, they also discuss the plight of Labor Day, in which their grandpa eats "seven f*cking hotdogs" all in one go.

"All I Want for Christmas is You" My Chemical Romance

Guy, girl, plant, animal--no matter who you are, there's no denying that the original Mariah Carey version of this song is a total classic. But the boys in My Chemical Romance do a surprisingly bang-up job. Super heartfelt, super scream-y, and just emo enough to match the holiday season.

"Hava Nagila" Me First and the Gimme Gimmes

Finally! A song for the rest of us. Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are no strangers to cover songs, but did they really have to rearrange "Hava Nagila" to the tune of "Feliz Navidad?" Aren't there enough Christmas songs, for the love of Moses?

"White Christmas" Panic! at the Disco

A lovely rendition of this Bing Crosby classic. Panic frontman, Brendon Urie, certainly knows how to sing, but should we deduct points for this sounding exactly like the original?

"Ex-Miss" New Found Glory

No matter the season, you can always expect Jordan Pundik and the rest of the NFG crew to whiningly sing a song about a girl who dumped them. "This time I'll regret that I spent too much time and money on you" -- don't you know that love don't cost a thing?

"I Won't Be Home for Christmas" Blink 182

Another Blink 182 holiday song--what can we say, these guys know how to celebrate. Just as sarcastic as "Happy Holidays, You Bastard," this song tells the tale of a disgruntled guy during the holidays who ends up baseball-batting a group of carolers and being thrown in jail. Cheers!

"Merry Christmas (I Don't Want To Fight Tonight)" The Ramones

The Godfather of all the bands on this list, The Ramones have been singing about the Christmastime blues since the rest of you kiddies were in diapers. While this song is about a couple who can't seem to get their sh*t together for the holidays, the message rings true for the current state of the country.
