The Brooklyn duo shared their thoughts on Twitter.
Demi Lovato's Confident has been getting a lot of traction, but it looks like the former Disney star is in some hot water regarding some inappropriate sampling.
Brooklyn's Sleigh Bells have accused Demi of using samples from their hits, "Infinity Guitars" and "Riot Rhythm" for her song, "Stars," a bonus track off the new album, without contacting them about it.
".@ddlovato Demi Lovato flattered you guys sampled Infinity Guitars & Riot Rhythm for "Stars" but we were not contacted. Gotta clear those," the duo expressed on Twitter on Monday evening (November 2).
This isn't the first time Demi has been accused of copying without asking. Katy Perry fans also accused Demi of stealing the "I Kissed a Girl" singer's ideas for "Cool for the Summer." However, Demi was quick to defend her tune and said, "Sounds nothing like it and with all the advances we've made in the LGBT community."
She also added, "I think more than one female artist can kiss a girl and like it."
Demi has yet to comment about the situation and has been busy promoting her tour with Nick Jonas.
