The 17-year-old reenacts Ronda's life story from the dojo to the Octagon.
The latest UFC 193 promo shows how two of its fighters fought their way to the Octagon. You see Holly Holm before she became a 19-time world boxing champion, when she was a teen still learning her way around the punching bag. Then there is young Ronda Rousey, played by none other than her 17-year-old sister Julia De Mars, who gets into some trouble for practicing judo at school, though with her mother as her biggest cheerleader.
UFC 193 airs November 14 and has Ronda defending her 135-pound title for the seventh consecutive time, with three of those bouts ending in less than 30 seconds. But this match is expected to draw the biggest audience in the sport's history, because of how both fighters have proven to be worth contenders.
"She's the type of fighter you have to be very, very patient with," Ronda said on The Tonight Show. "I feel like she's going to try to, like, keep distance and keep far away from me and get me frustrated until the point I make a mistake and she can try to kick me in the head, but it's not going to go like that—not the way she wants."
