We chatted with vocalist Randy Blythe before the band's Vegas show this summer.

It's another sweltering hot summer day in Las Vegas, and though Randy Blythe admits he's not the biggest fan of Sin City, it's clear the Lamb of God vocalist is eager to get up on stage at the MGM Resort.

"The best part of it, when it's a really good show, is the exchange of energy between the performer and the audience," he explains backstage of the festival lot. "It's something really special that is very unique to what we do. It's an intense, intense form of communication and when it's working, it's magic, it really is. I wish everybody could feel it."

As we spend more time with him, and his band members, it's clear this sentiment is true. Even for a band that's been performing together for 25 years, each gig is treasured. Watch our "Five Minutes To The Stage" interview with Blythe below.
