The Canadian punk rock act Arson started in 1979 in Toronto.
Members were singer Rudy Tuesdal, guitarists Marcel Lafleur and Chic Parker, keyboardist Martin Wall, drummer Mike "Motor X" Anderson, and bassist Spyke Bandito. The band spent a lot of time touring, hitting major cities throughout Canada and the United States. Arson only recorded a handful of songs, including "We've Gotta Get Outta This Place" and "White Folks." In 1982, after only three short years in existence, the band called it quits. Some of the members continued following their musical dreams. Tuesdal began working under the name Rude Van Steenes and even teamed up with Lafleur from time to time. ~ Charlotte Dillon
