World artist Arismar Do Espirito Santo arrived on the scene in the early 1990s.
Fusing an eclectic guitar-driven sound with Brazilian elements, this talent multi-instrumentalist released his first solo album in 1993. It soon earned the prestigious Premio Sharp Music Award.For the remainder of the decade, Santo collaborated with the likes of Leandro Braga, Roberto Sion, Hermeto Pascoal, Banda Mantiqueira, and others. He also participated in various jazz and world music festivals across the globe. As of 2002, Santo was preparing the finishing touches for a second solo album. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
