My second album, in its entirety, and with the correct tracklisting...finished in 2009, but never properly released. Until now. A mixture of british psychedelia, folk, electronic, goth, and melancholia...with touches of Nick Drake, Syd Barrett, Radiohead, and Jeremy Enigk...these songs from The Daylight Astronomer were recorded in a tiny apartment and In a dejected and reclusive state of mind, I composed each of the album's 11 songs. Alone. Every instrument, every vocal, every piece of its sonic tapestry was constructed over the course of a few years by yours truly. I hope it was worth the effort. To anyone who's listened: my sincerest gratitude : )
