She went on to study jazz, middle eastern dance and latin dance. At the age of 9, Amira discovered her passion for singing. She sang at church, and began her professional singing career at age 16. She has toured all over the world with major Latin recording artists, such as Alejandro Sanz, Joan Sebastian, and Alejandro Fernandez. Amira continues to perform in her hometown of Los Angeles, CA, as lead vocalist for Latin Jazz and Pop bands. She has also appeared in television commercials and short films.
