Comprising Rocco Fury (vocals), Petey D. (guitar), Danny Monchek (guitar), Steve Evetts (bass) and Eric Nilla (drums), US hard rock band American Angel were late 80s underachievers whose melodic rock never attracted either an international or domestic audience.
Their sole, self-titled album for Grudge Records was a competent but uninspired set on which Fury’s songwriting failed to back up the group’s obvious professionalism.
