Texas country singer, songwriter, guitarist, television host, and on-screen personality Ali Dee is used to wearing a lot of different hats as her career in the entertainment industry multi-blossomed seemingly everywhere at once.
She came to country music while spending her summers in the mountains of North Carolina as a child, listening to everyone from Dolly Parton to the Dixie Chicks. She picked up guitar and started writing songs while she was in high school, and has since performed her brand of country on the so-called Texas/Oklahoma Red Dirt circuit. Concurrently, she became a regular television presence as a TV and arena host for the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, as part of the broadcast team for Fox Sports' coverage of Championship Bull Riding, and for her role on the CMT television show Texas Women, and has appeared in numerous television commercials. Her debut single, "World's Gone Crazy," appeared in 2011, and she followed it with two more singles in 2012, "Sweet Southern Song" and "Just a Diamond," while working on a debut album. ~ Steve Leggett
