Alex Bonacci began playing drums at the age of seven.
He attended a Berklee College course where he had the pleasure to study with Ron Savage, Ken Cervenka and Matthew Nicholl and meet many great artists of all over the world.
He attended several master-classes and studied with different great musicians, such as: Jeff Berlin, Omar Hakim, Peter Erskine, Dave Weckl, JoJo Mayer, Pat Martino, Maurizio Dei Lazzaretti, Dennis Chambers, Furio Chirico, Miroslav Vitous, Kiko Loureiro, Daryl Lowery, Larry Monroe, etc.
In 2005 he became the official drummer of the band called 'Vincent' and won the Sanremo Rock Festival with them during the same year. Attending this event he had the chance to play on the same stage on which many famous musicians were playing (i.e. Ian Paice- Deep Purple's drummer).
He took part in many radio and television programs (RaiDue, RadioDue, Sky, etc.) and inmany important music contests with different artists (Heineken Jammin Festival, International Pop Overthrow, Coca Cola contest, Sanremo Rock, Premio Musicultura, Rock Targato Italia, etc.). He is also involved in the project "Renilin: OFFSIDE", produced by Renilin, with other ten artists of all over the world.

Those are some of the great musicians, sound engineers and producers whom Alex Bonacci has worked with.
In 2011 he began to teach drum for the italian national school "La casa del batterista" in Turin, at the Bioritmo Studio. He is an endorser of the italian brands UFIP and Facus Drum innovations.
