Today, this DJ/Producer has made a name for himself, not only was he one of the core people behind leading event companies OMP Entertainment and Obsession Events, he has definitely proven himself as he is considered as one of the prominent generation of DJs firing up the local and international clubbing scene. Alam is always upfront, showing his versatility by mixing different forms of style from house to techno. Regardless, he manages to deliver an experience of sound, which leaves the crowd with wanting more. Beginning his career 13yrs ago, Alam has held up residencies at most venues around, such as The Backroom*KL, Zouk Club, Echo Bar and Ministry of Sound. He has extended his resume internationally playing at the Full Moon Party (Koh Phangan), and Stadium & Embassy (Jakarta). In 2005, Alam moved to Melbourne, Australia, and adapted quickly to the scene, building a following through his residencies and hosting his own successful nights at some of Melbourne’s forefront nightclubs. His residency with Darkbeat introduced international opportunities and regularly playing alongside Melbourne’s finest local lineups. He also supported renowned local event series, such as Balance and The Likes of You, and appeared numerous times on Kiss FM radio. After many years of experience overseas, Alam has returned to Kuala Lumpur and recently joined Ohrwurm as a third partner, with its primary focus on international touring acts, with legendary names such as John Digweed, Danny Howells, Radio Slave, Guti, Ian Pooley, and more. On top of all those names mentioned previously, Alam has also supported international artists, which includes the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Joris Voorn, Stacey Pullen, Desyn Masiello, James Zabiela, Ben Watt, Steve Lawler, Derrick Carter, Clive Henry, Slam, Michael Mayer, Deetron, Guy J. Nick Curly, Moodymann, M.A.N.D.Y, Oliver Koletzki, Funk D’Void, Martin Buttrich, Ashley Beedle, amongst countless others. His production ‘Kaleidosimple’ is released on RedFlux Cinnabar through Beatport and Juno Download, with remixes by Nick Robson, Rodrigo Soria, and Yuuki Hori. The release has been charted numerous times with support from DJs on shows on Frisky Radio and Proton Music.
