Being raised in the "hood" by a single strong woman presented me with the experiences that could have had me rapping about guns and how "I do it cause my daddy ain't around." I could have allowed society to dictate weather I would become another statistic or not, and did it the way everyone else was doing it.

Instead I didn't let my surroundings take me down. I got involved with Hip Hop early in life, and I knew I wanted to be different. I wanted to spit knowledge ... lines that would make you stop, listen and remember. I wanted to be the proof that not everyone is the same. If you aim high you can reach the sky no matter where you come from.
