Lisa Sanders calls Poway, California home.
She started her song writing career young, with such influences as Fleetwood Mac and Joni Mitchell.

In 1988, her song writing talents took a strange turn when she quit her job at a local supermarket and her a partner moved to Los Angeles to write jingles. That didn't work out very well for her career, so back to the lovely country town of Poway she returned.

While sitting in coffee houses watching such local artists as Jewel, Steve Poltz and Gregory Page she decided it was her turn to be on that stage. In 1997 Lisa teamed up with Steve Poltz and other award winning artist to release her first album, Isn't Life Fine with MCA. Needless to say, Lisa no longer is working in the produce department at the local supermarket. Her music career is full steam ahead and is set to play at Lilith Fair 1999 in San Diego. ~ Amanda Nusbaum
