Merging post-metal, sludge, and black metal, instrumental trio Sannhet combine some of metal's most atmospheric effects to create their churning, experimental sounds.
Formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2010, the trio of guitarist John Refano, bassist AJ Annunziata, and drummer Christopher Todd made a name for themselves with their intense live sets, which paired the band's dense sound with a visual display, giving the audience something to hold onto while Sannhet purposefully built their layered and monolithic elements into massive walls of sound. Their debut full-length, Known Flood, arrived on Sacrament Records in 2013. ~ Gregory Heaney
