From New South Wales, Australia, this three-piece rap group comprised MCs Micke and Flip alongside DJ/producer ESP.
The trio met in a record store, with each boasting of a long history of activity in Sydney’s fledgling hip-hop scene, including graffiti and breakdancing. They recorded their debut album, Off Da Back Of A Truck, in a bedroom in a single day, using live takes of music that reflected their devotion to the hard funk sounds of west coast American rappers such as NWA and Dr. Dre.
