Early Life:
Rafayell born in Long Island, New York on August 22, 1989 was raised by his young mother Iris in a poverty stricken urban neighborhood in the Bronx, New York. Due to his fathers lengthy federal incarceration on major drug trafficking charges Rafayell learned very early in life how to survive the fast pace environment of the concrete jungle. Drifting away from his fathers career habits Rafayell decided that there were other ways of helping his mother put food on the table for him and his younger sister, but Rafayell was on a downward spiral none the less. Following the release of Rafayell's father in 2003 he and his family relocated to the outskirts of Boston to the state's poorest city also known as the "City of the Damned" Lawrence, Massachusetts. In 2006 with Rafayell's father still maintaining the "family business", and new criminal charges surfacing tying him to Griselda Blanco's criminal organization, it was clearer than ever to Rafayell that the only way out of this vicious cycle was to dream and dream big! Picking up pen and paper using music as an outlet for self expression Rafayell authored his first rap at the age of 14. Quote: "With everything wrong going on around me music was the only thing that felt right” Delving into his new found talent Rafayell began to master his craft in the pursuit of success.
