Logan’s singing career began at an early age singing for local festivals, churches, and schools. Now at age twenty-three he has performed in venues from Oklahoma City to Ft. Worth, TX. Logan Russell has quickly become a fixture in the Texoma country music scene with an ever expanding fan base. His experiences have expanded even further by performing as opening act for Stoney Larue, Jason Boland, Blue Edmonson, and Chris Cagle.Logan is a Junior student at Southeastern Oklahoma State University currently pursuing a double major in Music and in Communication, while also playing on the football team. One of his proudest accomplishments is being selected as the 2012 recipient of the Reba McEntire Scholarship, an award voted on by faculty of Southeastern based on their assessment of a student’s ability and potential. Logan also writes much of his own material and plays the guitar and piano. He grew up surrounded by the sounds of his family’s music making and has taken on these experiences as the core of his own performances. Logan’s desire to connect through his music demonstrates a powerful respect and love of family and the positive influence they have had on his life and career.
